Speak English with Christina, by Christina Rebuffet

In this episode, Christina and Kristina talk about:

  • things we are thankful for
  • being grateful for what we do have during Covid
  • appreciating the little things in life

The extra mile (useful English vocabulary you'll hear in the podcast):

  • to take [something] for granted = to fail to properly appreciate (someone or something), especially as a result of overfamiliarity
  • the small things = the little things; things we often do not appreciate every day
  • "and things like that" = a phrase used to indicate nonspecific things that are similar or somehow related to those being listed or discussed
